Clip-On Seat Belt Webbing Retractor

*The webbing must be fully extended when using a non-locking type clip on retractor.

This clip on webbing retractor measures 3" X 2.5" and holds over 4 feet of 2" wide webbing and is used to make a non-retractable lap belt retract and keep the belt from falling out the door. Use only one clip-on retractor per belt and only on one side.

1. Rotate the center spring barrel 8 complete turns in the direction of the arrow on barrel. Additional turns may damage the retractor.
2. Position the retractor so that it is in the center of the length of the belt when it is fully extended.
3. Slide one side of the webbing under the slot on one side of the retractor. Fold the webbing slightly slide it under the slot on the other side. Slowly release the tension on the center spring barrel. The retractor will wind up seat belt webbing. The remaining webbing should be about the same length on both sides of the retractor.
4. To adjust, pull both ends to fully extend the belt. Slide the retractor backward or forward until centered. When positioned correctly, slowly release the tension.
